Turns out the dog likes to chew the tender trees in the backyard, killing them.  Too late, I put a wire cage around each.  Bought some replacements, though, for mothers day.  The prospect of planting tomatoes, peppers, and flowers made me giddy, like a kid.  My grandpa let me plant a little garden near the barn in Kalispell.  I remember digging the dirt and finding a stray potato plant.
